ILLING Packaging Tracked Pumpkin Spice in Every Stride for 3 Local Charities!
ILLING Packaging was excited to host their annual company 5K charity walk for their employees to promote healthy lifestyles while raising funds for important local charities. We had a beautiful Fall day…with adoptable dogs from the Washington County Humane Society visiting us at our WI headquarters!
Employees were able to take laps, earning funds to donate on each lap they were able to complete, up to the full 5K (3.1 miles). The employees then got to choose where to apply their donations amongst three local charity options: Washington Humane Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County, and Interfaith Caregivers.
We were ecstatic to have 26 ILLING Packaging employees participate in this fun event, taking laps around our state-of-the-art Wisconsin Headquarters or participating remotely on their own. Together, the walkers had pumpkin spice and everything nice as they collectively walked over 103 miles, which was over 40 miles more than last year! Our combined effort led to a significant charitable donation for three worthy local causes, all while promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles. What an incredible day of wellness, community, and fun!
