ILLING Packaging Volunteers, Donates, and then Celebrates Success with Some New Furry Friends!
Our employees at ILLING Packaging were tasked with some big asks for the local Washington County Humane Society but came running with their tails wagging to help out an amazing cause!
Six individuals assisted in setting up for a mega rummage event, dedicating 12 hours to organizing rummage items for the benefit of the shelter animals. We also set up collection drums in our offices, allowing employees to donate treats, food, toys, office supplies, cleaning supplies, and more. As a result, we donated 100 items to help the cats, dogs, and other animals awaiting their forever homes.
To celebrate our team’s volunteer and donation efforts, we asked the WCHS if they would be willing to bring some furry friends to our facility to meet our excited employees. We were so thankful to have WCHS workers bring us 4 adorable new friends to meet and play with while we celebrated these achievements.  We loved snuggling with Donut, Grimbly, Toby, and Hunter, watching them perform tricks, play, and soak up all the affection they deserve. We’re confident these new friends will soon find their perfect homes!
The mission of The Washington County Humane Society is to protect animals from suffering and cruelty, to provide care for animals afflicted by neglect and abandonment, and to enhance the lives of animals and people through education, adoption and compassion.
