ILLING Packaging was Walking on Sunshine for 3 Amazing Causes!
We had the most beautiful day of sunshine for our annual Charity 5k Walk Event! Our Wisconsin headquarters team came together to celebrate and give back to 3 incredible charities in our community. Adding even more sunshine to our day, we were thrilled to welcome 3 loveable and adoptable pups from the Washington County Humane Society to walk and enjoy the afternoon with us! Big T, Connor, and Dancer soaked up all the attention – enjoying countless pets, plenty of walking time, and lots of love from our employees.
Participants earned funds for each lap they completed—up to the full 5K (3.1 miles)—and had the opportunity to direct their donations to one of three remarkable local charities: Washington County Humane Society, Friends, Inc, or Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
We were ecstatic to have more than 25 employees take part, whether walking laps around our state-of-the-art headquarters or participating remotely on their own. Together, our team completed over 100 laps and logged just under 65 miles while enjoying the beautiful summer weather.
Thanks to everyone’s participation and generosity, we made a positive impact on three deserving local causes while celebrating wellness, community, and summer fun. It was a paw-sitively unforgettable day of giving and togetherness!
